Lumsden Rock has been hewn from the madness of the last two years to provide a smorgasbord of new normalities to the weary, bleary and sometimes teary world. Less rock more pebble at a stoning – joining in but not taking part, music for the times but not of the times. From lock down to lock in, from Devon to Vienna, from age frais….negroni, old fashioned, strawberry daquiri – cocktails of the unexpected. For those who stumble into the Lumsdenista orbit make the most of it because these will be the last utterings of the Clash themed collections – farewell Aiden, click baited to the eternal zed and two noughts. This final set ploughs the same murky furrow as our previous outings though on this release we have been joined by Amanda on Broekn Day – a shining pearl amongst an oomska of swine – to elevate the vocal standards to a more acceptable level. Fortunately all is not lost as Kinky Lumsden is re-imagined as winKLman with new product already being assembled in the twin peaks of Devon/Coldharbour/Vienna to continue what Herzog may call the Conquest of the Youthless.
